Teamsters Local Union 509 Membership Meeting / Hurricane Florence

It is the intentions of General Teamsters Local Union 509 to hold the Membership Meeting for Saturday September 15, 2018 as usual. We believe we must continue with normal business because at this hour it is too late to notify all the members of any rescheduling of the meeting and we don’t want members to arrive to find out the meeting has been cancelled.  However, Local Union 509 cannot stress enough, safety first, if you believe it is dangerous to travel, please do not. It is important to attend the monthly membership meetings but if you miss one, there will be another one next month.  Do not put yourself at risk.  Should conditions change where the Local Union is unable to hold Septembers Membership Meeting you will receive a notification as soon as the decision is made.

                                                                                                                                    Fraternally,

                                                                                                                                    James Todd

                                                                                                                                    President
